At insurance.co.uk we care about security. We are committed to ensuring all data that passes through our service is handled securely and stored in a secure area.
All our partner sites are also committed to the same high standards that we pride ourselves in and although we cannot be responsible for their security we will always do our best to ensure that your data is safe.
Our website is regularly tested against the high security standards that are set, not only by us, but also the Data Protection Act 1998.

Where we are storing any of your data we will ask you for a username and password to ensure your data is as secure as possible.
Your username and password is unique to you, and therefore we advise you not to share this information with anyone else as this would give them access to your personal information.
If you forget your username and/or password, there is no need to worry. We have a facility to generate you a new username and password once you have answered some security questions which are personal to you.
If you don’t want us to store your data, then we won’t. You have the option to tell us this whilst you are getting your quote – telling us this wont stop us giving you a great service.
Processing your data
So that you can send your details to us with confidence, all the information you enter into this website is processed using a secure server infrastructure. We use the industry standard secure sockets layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption technology to ensure that your data is safe before it is sent anywhere for processing.
Our aim is to hold your data once we have processed it so that it is quick and simple for you to get quotes in the future, however should you choose to enter all your information again then you can.
Be careful
The internet is set up in such a way that communications could visit a number of other countries server networks before they eventually arrive with you. Communications such as emails cannot be considered secure unless they are fully encrypted.
